What additional resources you used to study Locke?

2
E. M. Curley's Descartes against the skeptics http://es.scribd.com/doc/37047744/CURLEY-E-M-Descartes-Against-the-Skeptics
Bernard Williams's The Project of Pure Enquiry - Routledge http://www.4shared.com/office/JVd2Pai_/0415356261_-_Bernard_Williams_.html

These 2 are cited as best aids in understanding descartes. I read a review by G. A. J. Rogers (http://www.jstor.org/stable/4619566) that it is best to start with E. M. Curley and so far I find it easy to understand.

enjoy!

Suggestion Box / Other sections? Like Study methodology, etc

Not everyone is familiarized with distance learning, or newcomers (such as myself) would much appreciate advice from the ones that have already had their first year, maybe a board dedicated to suggestions of that type?

I created this forum with the objective of having a platform to share questions, knowledge and content about our subjects and student experience in the BA in Philosophy in the International Programmes of the University Of London.

Hopefully this forum will provide everyone with an organized way to carry subject-wise discussion, a feature that our Stucafé on our student portal lacks.

I created a board per subject on our BA, and it is divided in 4 sections:

The Introduction to Philosophy course
1 - The first 5 compulsory courses we have to take
2 - The second round of courses we have to take
3 - The optional courses

I divided them as they appear on the syllabus page of our course here:
http://www.londoninternational.ac.uk/prospective_students/undergraduate/birkbeck/philosophy/structure.shtml

You can go to the Introduce yourself forum and post about you. You can post suggestions on the suggestion board.

This is barely starting, I really hope this is of help to everyone so I'm really open to suggestions and will appreciate if you pass the voice along!

Cheers,
